The Fauna y Flora series completes a staged metamorphosis in which two entities, already bound by nature, merge into a single evolving form. Here, the organic figure has become fragmented and recoded, suspended somewhere between living specimen, constructed memory, and visual signal. Nature has not disappeared; it persists beneath the interference, still recognizable but transformed by the systems imposed upon it. The work asks: where, or when, does nature end and technology begin? Can the two remain separate, or have they already begun to merge into something entirely new?

  • Each artwork is produced using a professional Giclée process — an exacting method of fine-art reproduction designed to preserve the depth, nuance, and integrity of the original work.

    An 11-color, ultra-wide-gamut pigment ink system renders an exceptional chromatic range, from saturated color and deep blacks to the most subtle tonal transitions. Printed at up to 2880 × 1440 dpi on carefully selected archival fine-art paper, every detail is reproduced with remarkable clarity and precision.

    The result is a richly layered, gallery-quality print with an archival life of up to 80 years when properly displayed and cared for — created not as a conventional poster, but as an enduring fine-art object.

  • Each artwork is produced on one of four professional matte fine-art papers, selected to complement the color, detail, and character of the individual piece. The specific paper chosen for this edition is listed in the artwork specifications above.

    Hahnemühle Photo Rag — 308 gsm
    A smooth, off-white cotton paper with a super-matte finish and minimal surface texture. It produces even color, subtle tonal transitions, and exceptional detail with a soft, tactile quality.

    Hahnemühle German Etching — 310 gsm
    A heavyweight, slightly warm-white paper with a pronounced, irregular texture. Its surface holds rich color and deep blacks while giving the artwork a distinctly handcrafted character.

    Hahnemühle Bamboo — 290 gsm
    A smooth, warm-toned paper made from 90% bamboo fiber and 10% cotton. Free from optical brightening agents, it offers excellent color density and a natural surface particularly suited to warm palettes and monochromatic work.

    Ilford Cotton Textured — 310 gsm
    A warm-white, highly textured paper with a substantial watercolor-like surface. It delivers strong blacks and rich color intensity while giving the finished print a robust, traditional fine-art presence.

    All four papers are archival-quality and printed using an 11-color pigment-ink Giclée process rated for an archival life of up to 80 years when properly displayed and cared for. Slight variations in texture and tone are part of each paper’s natural material character.

  • Framing is not included, allowing the artwork to be finished in a way that suits your space and personal aesthetic. Because fine-art papers require careful handling, professional framing with archival materials and UV-protective glazing is recommended.

  • LabMercury is an independent, artist-led practice. Each print is produced by a specialist fine-art printing partner, then received, personally inspected, authenticated, and carefully repackaged before being sent to its final home.

    This considered process may take a little longer than mass-produced poster fulfillment, but it ensures the quality and integrity of every artwork. Protective packaging and standard tracked delivery are included in the listed price. Tracking information will be provided once the order ships.

  • Every artwork is personally inspected before leaving the studio. If your print arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, contact LabMercury within seven calendar days of delivery and include clear photographs of the artwork and packaging.

    A replacement will be arranged at no additional cost. If a replacement is unavailable, including when a limited edition has sold out, a full refund will be issued.

  • Artwork may be returned or exchanged by contacting LabMercury within 14 calendar days of confirmed delivery. The print must be returned in its original condition with its Certificate of Authenticity and original protective packaging.

    Return delivery costs for preference-based returns or exchanges are the customer’s responsibility. Once the artwork has been received and inspected, a refund will be issued to the original payment method. Exchanges are subject to artwork and edition availability.
