3d Lacrosse
Taking the game to the next level.
3d Lacrosse was built around a distinct approach to player development, combining innovative training, experienced coaching, and access to a national lacrosse network. As the organization expanded, its marketing needed to communicate that expertise with greater clarity and consistency across programs, regions, and audiences.
Project Statement
The youth lacrosse landscape is highly competitive. Players and families need to understand not only which programs are available, but what makes the training, coaching, and opportunities meaningfully different.
3d Lacrosse needed a more cohesive brand system that could expand its reach, establish greater industry authority, and create a clearer path into its programs. The work refined the existing identity and creative without losing its energy, helping position 3d as both a leader in player development and a knowledgeable resource for athletes looking to advance their game.
Creative Direction
The creative direction strengthened the existing brand while establishing a clear architecture around four defining pillars: 3d Select Teams, 3d Training, 3d Blue Chip, and 3d Events. Each represented a distinct point in the player journey, yet needed to feel unmistakably connected to the same organization and development philosophy.
3d Select Teams expressed competition, team development, and the opportunity to play at a higher level. 3d Training communicated skill refinement through specialized instruction and the proprietary 3d methodology. 3d Blue Chip created a pathway to evaluation, recruiting exposure, and new opportunities. 3d Events extended the brand into tournaments, showcases, and shared experiences that brought the wider lacrosse community together.
A flexible system of clear hierarchies, repeatable formats, and consistent messaging gave each pillar its own focus without allowing them to become separate brands. Across print and digital advertising, direct mail, collateral, and event promotions, the work clarified how each program connected to the larger 3d experience and positioned the organization as a comprehensive resource for developing players, expanding access, and advancing the game.
